Supervisor
Raised and educated in South Africa, James emigrated to Canada
in 1966. After two years with the Halifax Insurance in Toronto,
James moved to Los Angeles and joined the INA as a Commercial
Underwriter. After three years there, he joined Fred S. James
Insurance Brokers as a Business Developer. He returned to Canada,
for family reasons, and joined the Royal Insurance Company, Ottawa
Branch in 1974. James then re-joined the INA in the capacity of
Marketing Manager in Ottawa. An opportunity presented itself and
James became the Vice-President of a local insurance brokerage,
namely, Campbell & Moore Insurance Brokers. Then in 2001, he
came to Rhodes & Williams Insurance as a Commercial Account
Executive and now holds the position of Commercial Lines
Supervisor.
James was a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa and
loves to play golf in his spare time.
