Markham Branch Manager

William is a graduate of the University of Guelph & has attained his B.A. degree as well as his C.I.P. (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada. He began his insurance career in 1975 with Travelers Canada & held various management positions within the company including Marketing Manager in the Calgary office. He joined Rhodes & Williams Insurance in 1988 as branch manager of the Markham office. As a branch manager, his responsibilities revolved around all aspects of the property casualty business including office management, writing of new business for both commercial & personal lines, servicing of accounts & of particular interest was the "niche" aviation business that the Markham office had, which he has tried to develop further, in writing some new aviation accounts & hiring a commercial aviation producer.

William has been an active member of the North York YMCA since joining Rhodes & Williams Insurance in 1988 & has obtained some property casualty business from his connections made at the YMCA over the years.
