Partnering with Gore Mutual to Help Cystic Fibrosis Canada
“Gore Mutual is an amazing partner that allows brokers to work with and support deserving charities,” said Trent Young, President and CEO at Rhodes & Williams. “They give back and are truly generous. The reason we support cystic fibrosis started many years ago when a good friend’s daughter had cystic fibrosis. We watched as she suffered for years and died at a very young age. There have been great medical advances made since then, and the life expectancy for people with cystic fibrosis has been extended by many years. This disease can one day be beaten with our support.”
The grant will be used to help Cystic Fibrosis Canada continue to invest in leading research, care and advocacy for those living with the disease.
“We’re thrilled to receive a grant from the Gore Mutual Foundation and Rhodes & Williams Insurance,” said Norma Beauchamp, President and CEO at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. “It’s because of grants like this that Canada has one of the world’s highest survival rates for those living with cystic fibrosis. At this time there is no cure, but thanks to the commitment and support of the Gore Mutual Foundation and Rhodes & Williams Insurance, we’re that much closer to a world without cystic fibrosis.”
